About Me

Sara Miller LMFT

I'm Sara Miller (She/Her/Hers) and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist as well as a registered art therapist.  I have been in the counseling field for over 15 years working with various clients.  I work primarily with older children, tweens, teens, and adults.  I also have a special place in my heart working with mamas at all different stages of motherhood including pregnancy, postpartum, working mamas, stay at home mamas, and of course, empty nest mamas. I also enjoy supporting parents with challenging tweens and teens, and young adults whether that be behavioral issues, newly diagnosed mental health issues, and other life issues that may arise.  I have worked with clients with anxiety, depression, OCD, suicidal ideation, cutting, and mood disorders.

Now that you "know" some of my specializations, you probably want to know about me as a person!  First, my dog, Libby is a certified therapy dog and comes to my office with me. Of course, clients can always request to not have her in session if this would make them feel more comfortable.  I live in Scotts Valley and love this community!  When I am not working, you can find me at various baseball and soccer games for my two young sons, on the beach, or in a hot yoga class.

I am here to answer any questions you may have and look forward to meeting you!
